We strive to develop food that defies conventions. Lab founder Liran Gruda, who began his culinary journey as a chef in leading restaurants, gradually realized that his true passion lies in R&D and food development. He left the restaurant world and started a small food lab in northern Israel. That is how Gruda was born.
It didn’t take long for our lab to develop cutting-edge solutions for some of Israel’s leading food manufacturers. Blending exact science with what Liran affectionately calls “classic culinary art”, we develop solutions based on surprising raw materials, unique techniques, unexpected ideas and more. We are committed to putting flavor at the forefront of the R&D process, while sprinkling loads of innovation that affects taste, texture and aroma.
